Blindspotting is a 2018 American comedy-drama film directed by Carlos López Estrada, and written by Rafael Casal and Daveed Diggs. The film had its world premiere on January 18, 2018 in the U.S. Dramatic Competition section at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. It was released on July 20, 2018. The film follows two childhood friends, convicted felon Collin (Diggs) and troublemaker Miles (Casal), through the last three days of Collin's year-long probation. Collin lives in a probation house and struggles with trying to get his life in order and put his criminal past behind him, while the short-tempered and rowdy Miles searches for trouble and embraces the "street" lifestyle. One night while waiting anxiously for a red light to change in order to get home for his 11pm curfew, Collin witnesses a white police officer (Embry) gun down a black civilian, an incident that haunts Collin over the next few days. Miles purchases a gun which ends up in the hands of his young son Sean, an incident which horrifies Sean's mother Ashley (Cephas Jones). Collin begins to realize that Miles' recklessness will likely land him into trouble, and the two are set on an explosive collision course. The screenplay for Blindspotting was written by Rafael Casal and Daveed Diggs over a period of 9 years. The pair grew up in Oakland, California and felt that cinematic portrayals of the San Francisco Bay Area have constantly "missed something". They wanted to draw attention to the culture, community, and sense of "heightened reality" that shape life in Oakland. The film addresses issues of gentrification, police violence, and racism.

Although Holi Festival is originated in India, it has been adopted in many places across the world. This festival of color is still widely celebrated as a religious festival in India. Holi Festival is celebrated in the day after the full moon in March each year. Moreover, the festival will be taken place a day earlier in West Bengal and Odisha. There are four main powder colors used to represent different things. Red reflects love and fertility while blue is the color of Krishna; yellow is the color of turmeric and green refers to spring and new beginnings. People spend the day to carry powders and liquid colors and throw as well as the smear on the clothes and faces of neighbors and relatives. The tradition of throwing colored powder (also called gulal) during the festival is rooted from the legend of Krishna, whose skin was dark blue. Totally, it is popular around the world for the powder that travelers throw on each other. Holi Festival leaves the participants a coat in color by the end of the day.
